Euro Poker review
Euro Poker is obviously a Europe-facing online poker room. No US players are accepted here. The traffic is nice, though it’s mostly focused on the NL Holdem tables, and at the smaller stakes at that.
Tournament traffic is reasonable as well.
The software Euro Poker currently offers is available in a downloadable format as well as in a no download one. From a graphics perspective, the quality of the software is quite outstanding. There’s an overall 3D feel about the operation. There also numerous options available: one can take notes in his/her opponents and color-code them. The statistics offered by the site are the regular industry-standard ones (average pot size, flops viewed etc), but they’re displayed in an extremely convenient and helpful manner.
Game speed is not exactly the best though. The waiting times between the various actions (betting, folding, calling, raising) are extremely generous which induces some pretty annoying downtimes that sow the game down a lot.
The sign-up bonus offered by Euro Poker is a pretty attractive one: players get a 100% match on their first deposits, right up to $1,200 which is not too shabby at all. Of course, the bonus money lands in players’ bonus money accounts first and it’ll have to be redeemed from there. The bonus redemption requirements are not bad either though. Through real money play, players will generate Player Points. 10 such PPs are required to unlock each dollar of the bonus.
The cool thing about it all is that the bonus is unlocked in 4 equal batches, which means player will get some bonus money even if they fail to unlock it all.
