Empire Poker review
Empire Poker is a Party Poker network member and as such it takes full advantage of the excellent traffic offered by the Party network. The player traffic is indeed excellent and what’s even more important: it’s not focused solely on the lower stakes NL Holdem tables.
The promotions are excellent. There are great tournaments and an awesome weekly flagship MTT. Qualifiers to some of the most prestigious live events are also available. Empire Poker’s uses the same software Party Poker does, and as you probably know, that software has been overhauled a while ago, so nowadays it is among the best in the industry.
The lobby is easy to navigate and everything is displayed in an orderly and easy to find manner. The table graphics are smooth and clean. Some say that from a graphics perspective it lags behind what the top online poker operations offer, but it still does a great job. Multi tabling is supported too.
The sign-up bonus offered by Empire Poker is a 100% match on player deposits, up to $25. That may not be the greatest sign-up bonus ever, but Empire Poker makes up for that shortcoming in other ways.
A 30% match bonus up to a maximum of $150 is also available.
The redemption requirements on these sign-up bonuses are impossible to locate on Empire Poker’s site. I’m pretty sure though that if you decide to sign up to Empire Poker, it will not be for the sign-up bonus: none of the two bonuses are particularly competitive and the site doesn’t seem to be particularly proud of either of them.
